Hire Me
As is often the case for writers, I don’t make a living as a poet. I’m a professionally trained, award-winning photojournalist, graphic designer, production manager, book designer and editor. If you have a project we might work well together on, please contact me.
Photography
I am a former photojouralist whose work has appeared in People Magazine, Sports Illustrated, The Boston Globe, and newspapers. I worked for almost a decade at The Berkshire Eagle, and can, occasionally, be persuaded to pick up a camera—especially if kids and dogs are involved.
Graphic Design/Production
My book design clients include Reader’s Digest, Barnes & Noble, and Time Life. I design content as well as covers. I also do charts, graphs, infographics and advertising and editorial design for print media. I am NOT a web designer, but can refer you to friends who do web design for a living. I am a production designer as well—highly organized, detail oriented and capable of multitasking like crazy. I was most recently a production manager for a weekly newspaper.
Editorial
I write reviews, critical work in contemporary poetry, and feature stories for newspapers and magazines. I also do manuscript consultations, book editing, and copyediting. I am NOT a proofreader.
